Heron is the result of the conversion of our barn which is situated in the grounds of the Mill. Our barn conversion also houses “Woodpecker” and “Kingfisher” apartments. The building is separated from the Mill House and Grenier by a stream and a stone footbridge.
On the ground floor.
Independent access via large French doors facing our cider orchard and swimming pool. These open into an entrance hall. To the right is the ground floor double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. To the left is a flight of stairs leading up to the first floor accommodation and living area. The ground floor double bedroom has a pleasant décor of pine and exposed stone with pine wardrobe and bedside tables and tiled floor. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, wash-hand basin and W.C.
On the first floor.
Attractive and very spacious open-plan living area with a high, beamed ceiling.
A tiled breakfast bar divides the room into two main sections. On one side is the dining area which seats 10 persons and looks out onto the front garden. On the other side is the kitchen and lounge. The lounge is comfortably furnished with a settee and easy chairs, coffee table, colour T.V. with satellite reception (Free to air channels) and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for 10 having a gas cooker (oven & hob), a combination microwave (microwave and grill), a fridge with freezer compartment, crockery and cooking utensils etc.
Leading off from the living room are the three first floor bedrooms; one double bedroom and two treble bedrooms (three single beds in each). Also on the first floor is a bathroom with shower, W.C, wash-hand basin and washing machine. Adjoining this bathroom is an additional cloakroom with second W.C and wash-hand basin. Close by there is a second shower.
“Heron” is fully carpeted throughout. The apartment is fully centrally heated.
