The Mill House has a warmly furnished, beamed living room with a traditional fireplace. Furnishings include a sofa, easy chairs, colour T.V. with satellite reception (Free to air channels) and a DVD player. An archway leads through to a spacious dining area featuring the internal mill wheel and an arched window to provide viewing of the working exterior water wheel. Large dining table. A rear door leads to the back garden and the millpond and millstream. There's a ground floor W.C. (toilet and wash-hand basin).
The separate kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker (large oven & grill), fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher,crockery and catering equipment for up to 13 persons. A farmhouse door leads directly from the kitchen to the front terrace with a Normandy cider press and outdoor tables for “Al Fresco” dining.
A staircase leads up to a landing and the four bedrooms. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, W.C. and wash-hand basin. There's a treble bedroom (a double bed plus a single bed), two double bedrooms (one double bed in each) and a large family size room with four single beds and a set of bunks. The bunks are suitable for small children only.
The Mill House is centrally heated. The cost of the central heating at this time is included in the rental. A supply of logs (one Stere / 1 cubic metre) for the Mill House fireplace costs £40 (payable with the rental balance) and logs should be ordered well in advance of stay.
